Best ISP For Gaming And Torrents?

I currently subscribe to BT Yahoo! and for the money the product and service is terrible. I've had enough and my contract has expired so am looking to sign up to a new ISP.

My main uses are web browsing, downloading torrents and online gaming. Therefore I need a low ping, no limiting of torrent download speed and either no download limitations or so high a limit that it shouldn't effect me. I can sometimes download over 120GB a month. "Fair usage policies" are a big no.

My limitations are that it must use a BT phone line (the account holder refuses to use anyone else unfortunately) and can't cost much more than £25 at the most (though obviously cheaper = better).

Please help me find my ideal ISP guys! :)

Although im not one to recommend adsl max, pipex adsl max unlimited £19.99 upto 8mb (realistically 4mb with 386kb up, enless your in a LLU area), I dunno what fair usage is but its better than some that take the **** (o2 20mb broadband "unlimited" is 40gb wtf ???). Ive never been warned and I used to use it a lot and if you use encription on utorrent (automatic now anyway) they can't throttle torrents. Ive always had cracking pings with them and im about 300miles away from london servers, usually around 30ms.

Be Unlimited looks pretty awesome if you can get it.
22mbit down, 1.3mbit up, ~10ms ping, unlimited traffic, 3 month contract, £18/month last time I checked.

lol AOL suck hard.

what problems have you had with BT? i have the 8meg package back at home and have never had any problems.. even sent us a free home hub and more recently a free bt vision package

I checked out Pipex's Pro option and it looks OK but £39.99 is too much for me.

Entanet dont throttle traffic, dont traffic shape and theirs no Fair usage/Acceptable usage policy. They define the limits per month and give you a choice on what you want to pay depending on how much bandwidth you think you will use.

Customer support is very good and even better when compared to AOL/BT/Tiscali/Virgin etc.
