Thats another top brew. If you are into that try Fullers 1845 if you havent already.

I haven't been to Paphos for a couple of years (too many tourists!
).

My all time favourite is Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbier

Mythos Greek beer lolloved that stuff.

Well for wheat beers Id suggest a few other than the standard Erdinger - Franziskaner, Weihenstephaner and also Schneider Weisse. The dark double-bock Aventinus isnt really a big style but theres a similar one called Spaten Optimator which I tried on tap in Zum Schneider in the East Village in New York - lovely. http://www.zumschneider.com for reference.
You should also try and check out if you can find anything by Samuel Smiths (brewed in Yorkshire - their Imperial Stout, Oatmeal Stout and Taddy Porter are great, great beers.
Tripels, well, apart from the usual I really like Delerium (think thats triple?), Affligem, Karmeliet. Abbaye Des Rocs stuff is great too, their Brune especially.
Asda also sell the Guinness Foreign Extra Stout at £1.20 a bottle, its an awesome stout which is easily found too.
Also, look out for Sierra Nevada Pale Ale which is a very decent brew, found in Tescos too I think.
