FIFA's at a price now where you shouldn't even contemplate buying it...just get it! £25 most places!

5 vs 5 is good fun but I'd stick to playing it with friends, I played a few games with randoms and most were good fun but like you said some players are just plain greedy. I wanted to get some people from here involved in one as it is good fun, a refreshing change to normal 11 vs 11.

For those saying FIFA is too slow; yes, it is a slow paced game. But I guarantee 90% of that is just you being used to the faster pace of Pro Evo (As I was). Unless people actually take the time to learn the game, your memory of it will always be of it being too slow paced.

After taking the time to play FIFA, I cannot at the moment play my favourite footie game ever (Pro Evo 4) because it is too fast. Neither is right or wrong, they're just both different styles that need time to get used to, and once you are used to one way, it will seem like the other way is the wrong way, when all it really is is a different style.

I've yet to jump into a 5 v 5 Andy, next time you're around on FIFA I'm up for it if you get a game going. Can't guarantee I wont be a little on the greedy side though.

Im in for 5vs5 and online most of the time atm. Playing it now in fact. I really don't feel the games slow at all anymore so I guess I got used to the pace. Bump the thread if you guys want to arrange something and I'll come have a look.

Your so very correct on the speed issues though, if I go to PES now the pace is ridiculous, but having played FIFA for so long the pace is completely normal now. The two games are impossible to alternate between.

i seem to be having problems with pro ev 2008 for pc , get in to the match fine but soon as i join its stuttery and the player is flashing? , installed the patch as well? or i keep loosing connection ,

Got round to playing this online, I'm really enjoying it, bringing back memorys of PES6

Supringsly I won the first 5/5 ranked games which I was shocked about as I haven't really given the game my time of day since I got FIFA so I'm really really out of pratice..But I must just not lose that PES touch

Went onto to lose another 2 mind.

Lag wise I only experienced bag lag in one game which started happening when I scored in the 60th minute to make it 2-1 to him still :/ Maybe a bit suspect that?

I don't think its as good as FIFA but a very fun alternative.

hmm been having a right hunt around today and cant seem to find any of the superpatches, evo etc..
are there none out? was looking for a few real stadiums with the proper kits etc, maybes the proper international rosters too ;(
Wanting to have a big of multiplayer world cup over xmas.
For PC btw, anyone?

Anyone played this online recently? Played it during the Christmas holidays once, lag was absolutely terrible and ended up with a loss, and seeing as I care too much about my stats this annoyed me greatly.

There been any patch/update to fix the lag?

This game is a joke. I just scored a goal from practically the half way line and I got no achievement. Have got one offline and online and nothing. Doing my head in.

ps. Keeper didn't even touch it.

i dont get all the fuss with the achivements, i just save the replays of decent goals or funny ones to show mates. achivements strike me as one of those silly epenis things.

I like getting them though, they are fun to go after sometimes.

I just don't understand why I didn't get this one when I scored this goal.

Just played my first online ranked match, went to extra time and by mid 2nd half I was 4-1 up, so the other player quit. It then comes up "Connection to player lost.", then something else pops up saying something along the lines on "Unable to overwrite match score."

Shouldn't I have got a 3-0 automatic win, like pes6? Or is another thing on the list that Konami have failed at?

Might have listed it as a 4-1 instead? Check your stats

People find a way round things liek that, PES6 also had it where the game would suddenly end and I wouldn't get the default win. Annoying. Happens on FIFA too.

Some other bugger decides to do it as well!! But this time I've got a disconnect against my name!! WTF! I'm just playing as normal! :mad:

This game is being sold. It's so so bad online and general gameplay is nothing but a shambles. Back to PES6 for me, which I luckily never sold.
