I hate achievements because...

i hate achievements for the same reason! i have a whole stack of games that i refuse to get rid of until i have got 1000/1000 out of them. Of course, this exludes things like some of the Stupid EA titles where it's not possible to get 1000 unless you are american

Mine is certainly no better. Got my 360 2 or 3 months after it came out and I've still not broken 10K yet.

I've done all of those, buy I would say I've only completed one for the achievements which is obviously avatar.
I love sports games as anyone looking at my profile can tell, so that doesn't include all the sports ones, CSI was akin to a point and click and I love those, so I had to play that, Open Season was my mates and was quite good and Surfs Up was the only game out at the time it came through as a rental (and I enjoyed it).

You don't have to play Madden 06, you could just simulate. I love Madden games though, they're excellent. I also love NBA ones .

Aye, I bought NHL and NBA as I've played every sports game I think on the 360 apart from American Football. Never got into that. Open Season is completed on my game as I bought my girlfriend it and she didn't have a 360 at the time

Open Season was my mates and was quite good and Surfs Up was the only game out at the time it came through as a rental (and I enjoyed it).

i thought it was really good as well and was very suprised. obviously, it was a bit easy being a supposed kids game but was really well done. Shame it wasn't a bit longer though

You could change the settings to suit your needs in the options, NBA games are generally very customizable anyway. NBA Homecourt is one you might enjoy as it's totally none-serious. It's also absolutely stunning graphically.
