Spec me a really really scary film!

Right, i enjoy being scared for some perverse reason, but most "scary" films i just laugh at, the only one thats made me remotely scared was Blair Witch Project which i watched for the first time a few weeks ago, and even then it wasn't that bad

I want something that'll scar me for life lol, something more physiological scary, as loads of gore and people getting killed ill just wet myself laughing at

So could anyone recommend some really scary films?

Switchblade Romance would be my choice, and therefore my recommendation. Amazing film.

Salems Lot, get the series not the film, it's still scary but they cut lots out. Only thing that ever gave me nightmares for weeks.

Definately the series and not the truncated version, they cut so much out if you hadn't seen the full version you wouldn't have a clue what was going on.

Requiem for a dream.
The horror is subtle - best to watch it when suffering from massive anxiety. Slowly eats your soul from the inside out for weeks afterwards. Recommended.

Alien and Aliens arnt horror films are they? I saw both when i was about 8, then again when i was 12, and many times since, they dont have parts that are even ment to be scary do they?

scared the hell out of me the 1st time I watched it, was only little (well maybe teens) and it was night time , second time I watched it I was still scared, but only because I remember it being scary rather than it being scary, so to summarise, it's not that scary. But I recommend it

The first would definately be classed as scifi/horror. You are obviously more of a man than everyone else on ocuk as you couldnt even figure out what the scary parts were

. Cant comment on aliens as i havent seen it in ages

not a film or anythin , but on the discovery channels theres a thing called Haunted, its usually on round 12-1 oclock at night
