Posting this in GD may be a bad idea, so if a Don sees this and thinks it's more suited for SC then feel free to move it :)

Now I don't normally pay much attention to the Daily Mail, but a friend linked me to this article and it's raised a few eyebrows.

A man that has attended Al Qaeda training, a known terrorist and a man who's father despises the 'Western Way of Life' - now wants to take his wife and move to the UK :-/

I'm sorry but, What!?

It looks like all is going through okay, and they more than likely will get it.

Now I'm all for not judging somebody simply because of what their family have done in the past, but you cannot help but look at this with bemusement.

Surely a man with such strong links to Al Qaeda would be top of the list of people to keep out of this country?

Or is this a case of keeping your enemies closer...

Well he was brought up that way but it doesn't mean he follows that way "now".

Assuming he's going to blow up all your base soon is like assuming all ginger kids have no friends.

Think of the ginger kids will you :(

He's married to an english lady, he was educated here, and although he had a strong relationship with his father, he renounces his fathers beliefs etc. He seems a good guy just trying to break away from the stereotype he has been given by the media.

I read that in Hello magazine :)

Bin Laden has a truck load of kids. He cannot keep in contact with all of em so how do you know his son will have up-to-date methods of contacting him?

Probably because his Father's told him to get shot of his new-wife, and that can't have happened more than a year ago.

I've seen a photo of his niece, and she's pretty hot.

I'm not particularly keen on having someone who has been to terrorist training camps coming here, but if he's truly not a terrorist then I don't really have a problem.
