What have you done, recently, or not so recently, that was a big achievement for you?

For me, recently, it has to be passing my driving test, I was 17 on 30th of August, and passed on the 21st of last month, which is quite quick compared to other people, so I was pleased at passing first time after only 20 hours of lessons (+ private practice)

Not so recent is when I was 10-11 when I won the Welsh youth foil fencing championships two years in a row =]

Hopefully I'll have some more achievements this summer, in the shape of some As on a piece of paper provided by AQA ;)

So what are your big achievements?

Hmmm, getting to University to study Forensic and Crime Scene science.

Also maybe not an achievement myself, but a collective achievement for my family - we're moving to New Zealand permanently around about December 2009 - just after I finish my degree.

It's a sort of incentive for me to do well at Uni - I want to start fresh with a decent degree in an amazing, beautiful new country. :)

Started a family, my daughter is 11 months old today. Also I got the promotion I wanted about 6 months ago, so life is good right now. :)

Completing my software engineering degree and getting a 1st comfortably.

Also, winning best arranger in a music competition about 5 years ago.

Don't let other people judge you! What's wrong with getting As?

I actually have to state I am being sarcastic these days, so here it is.

It's been a long day, corrected, and thanks.

And i did understand your thinly veiled sarcasm, It's not been that long a day! :p

if those count:
no1 in DM in UTstats
no1 in DM in ut2004 stats, which led me to be deleted along with a few botters also near the top of the list :D

Yes i deck whored, but thats life hehe

Got elected captain of the 3rd XI cricket team at uni; it's only the social team but it meant a lot to me :D

Attending an assessment centre at KPMG in a few weeks time. I suppose just getting that far is some sort of achievement but it'll feel a bit hollow if I don't get through I think.

Becoming a pro Opera singer (1978) when I had no musical education and there were hundreds of music college leavers looking for a job.

Bringing up two boys (now in 30s) who both know right from wrong and are decent human beings.

Good job we aren't listing negatives; could have been here for some time!

Past three years (academic):

Passing my driving test.
Getting ABB at A level.
Getting in to my first choice Uni.
Getting 69% avg in the first year of uni.
Getting an internship with KPMG for summer 2008. (Mad old tory give me a shout if you want some help preparing for the assessment centre/interview)

Fun stuff from last summer:

Skydived
Jumped off the top of Auckland Sky Tower
Walked over the top of Sydney Harbour bridge
Blackwater tubing
Whitewater rafting

Not really achievements but big things that I've always wanted to do.
