If you're taking the train can we take the same train, meet up and split the taxi fare as we did last time?

All things well I'll be coming down by train again. This time I'm trying to decide if it's worth paying £38.50 to get to Carmarthen at between 1pm and 3pm or pay £18 and get to Carmarthen at ~5pm. Getting up there early last time had its' advantages (first seat, time to relax and setup etc.) but obviously cost me more and meant an early start (5am).

An outside thought was to come up on the cheap train on Thursday (and lay claim to the burgers early ).
