No, it was just that people usually expect the 'lead' platform to get more content. This happens in quite a lot of games.

They're just saying there will be no extra content for this game, it doesn't matter which platform you're playing it on.

Far as im aware there isnt going to be any DLC for any system for DMC4, Capcom said the PS3 version will have some extra features though. Think this relates to some sixaxis stuff and the install to HDD. It was also mention in Famitsu there's some PSN only stuff like online high scores tables, see how far you friends are into the game etc etc, cant think why these wouldnt be in the 360 version though.

The PS3 install will apparantly be in the region of 20 minutes. :eek:

You'd hope there will be significant improvement in load times to make it worth it.

3 times faster on PS3 than on 360, one scene took 19 seconds to load on 360 and 6 seconds on PS3.

how much would an install take up on the PS3? I can see this being a great advantage, but on a standard 40gb drive how many games would you be installing before starting to run out of space?

Absolutely the blu-ray read speeds aint too hot so this is one way around that.

Also the install is expected to be 5gb, which is a fairly large chunk, but with it being so easy to change HDD's in the PS3 (and Sony openly supportive of it - Providing instructions etc.) I don't see it being a big deal.

My PS3 is full of all sorts of stuff that I've gathered over time, and it currently stands at 112GB free out of a total of 149GB

its takes up 5gb of space and while its installing it shows the story of the previous DMC games which suites me fine as I dont know the story of the other 3

Think its intresting that this gets spinned into a bad thing ( not by you mind), its partially down to the slower BD speeds ( doesnt apply to the whole of a DVD though) and the fact that all PS3 come with an HDD so they can install to it the PS3 so there are little or no pauses in the gameplay. Which has got to be a good thing IMO

Your exactly right here mate.

I'm in favour of this if it cuts down load times, more dev's should take advantage of the fact that every PS3 has a HDD, and not necessarily FORCE the user to install, but give the option (such as UT3).
