Thanks, I pre-ordered the eye thing gambling it will be here on Friday, rather than pay £1 more and get it imported and be stuffed if it breaks etc.

I suspect you won't be the first to think/mention that today, no offence taken.

In real life I probably fit the average image of a 30 year old professional, so online I try to escape that persona. Glad to see my cunning plan has worked :p

This bundle seems to be sold out in all stores and many places online, am i right in assuming as the PS2 mics are USB they will work in the solus version?
 
anyone have an idea what and when they will be releasing new tracks???


Also if I change my HDD can I download all the tracks again for free?

it is said to be every 2nd friday of each money (so today hopefully), and yes if you change HDD you'll be able to download them again - you just cannot download onto another PS3 if the songs are on another

thanks going to upgrade my HDD but wanted to check first
 
I would hold up on doing that just for this game at the moment. Theres some big problems regarding developer information, updates and problems with misleading advertising.

There hasn't been an update for over a month and the promised back catalog of songs and hundreds of tracks to download is non existent. No one has been able to get in contact with the devs leading to a lot of animosity on the official sing star forums, video protests etc.

yep, just the usual lack of info from Sony followed by long delays, lol, last i heard it was to do with publishing rights for the songs, even though they had the rights for the PS2 versions they need to ask again for the PS3 version + video. Anyways its one of those games you don't play every day - week so as long as they get it sorted soonish then not so much of a problem after all the PS2 discs wasn't released every month - but if it carry's on then i can see the good old USA are going to be moaning big time when it gets released state side , lol

You can easily tell its licensing issues holding up the releases. Virtually all the above artists all ready have songs on singstar.

Also how can you have that many Blur songs and not have Country House.. 'tis a crime I tells ya! :)

I purchased Blur - Girls and boys, The Fray - How to Save a Life and KT Tunstall - Suddenly I See.

Grade A con tbh. They promised 350 tracks and they ain't delivered.

tbh out of all these next gen DLC enhanced music games (GH2 & 3, Rock Band & Singstar) only MTV with their Rock Band have delivered on the DLC front. GH2 was a con (rip off dlc prices) GH3 the prices are good but the content is lacking.

Seems licensing and/or music/tv/movies and DLC are not kind to next gen gamers for whatever marketting/money/licensing reasons :mad:
