as title what's the best chocolate chip cookie going really, i thought i would ask here as there quite a few junk food eaters like myself

where from:

overall taste? (out of 10 if needs be)

The ones I have to sometimes bake at work :p

Co-op Truly Irresistible double choc chip.. loooovely. £1.44 for 4.

Out of 10? I'd say 9.
 
Tesco double chocolate chip cookies, fresh out of the oven!

First thing i do is go and pick up some of these badboys wheni go into work. :D
 
tried a few but as my CO-OP is utter poo they don't sell fresh stuff but keep the recommendations coming...my shopping spree will begin at dinner time tomorrow to hunt some of these bad boys down =P
 
Marks and Spencer's (the ones from the bakery!)

The cookie itself is thin and soft, ofset with lots of chunks of smooth velvety chocolate, making an irresitable cookie. They are freshly cooked and moist enough to bend when first cooked. They firm up a bit after a couple of hours.

Personally I prefer the Cookie with chocolate chunks, but they also do it with white chocolate chunks, and chocolate cookie with chunks.

49p each or about £2 for 5.

So moreish, its hard to feel full and they arent sickly, not too sweet, nicely 'salted' and they are always on bogof!
 
Make your own.
Make up chocolate chip cookie mix as normal.
Roll out to half as thick as usual.
Cut two circles, one slightly larger than the other.
Place a piece of you favorite chococlate in the centre of the smaller circle.
Place larger circle over the top and seal the edges.
Bake.
Eat while still warm for chocolate chip cookie with soft chocolate centre.
:D

For variety substitute chocolate centre with whatever you like eg jelly baby.

Tesco triple choc ones £1 for 5 or sumthing like that. But to make them the best microwave one for 5-10 sec's and pour yourself a large glass of full milk.
 
Smarties ones are nice from the supermarket, or White choc and raspberry ones from Millies (i think)
