Why shouldn't he? there will be materials that are not allowed on school grounds, given the attitude displayed at the time I don't think he would have been entirely in the wrong to check it.

An iPhone is about £250 for handset only, it's really not that special to have one at 17.

Well facts are he acted jobsworth, i called him jobsworth he confiscated phone. Ok im happy with this everything was fine etc.

Second i realised he tried to access my phone, it all changed.

WEll its £270 for handset, and £55 for 18 months ontop, what this has to do with absoloutly anything i have no clue... if i can afford it i can have it, wahts the issue there :confused:

Depends entirely on school policy, he should have been present I'll grant you, but even 6th form private school children have to abide by school policy.

He wasn't being a jobsworth at all. Do you even know what that word means? You were breaking the rules, and he informed you that you were breaking the rules, albeit by implication - he told you he could confiscate your phone.
