What symbian app's can you not live without?

I think it has full flash yes, but youtube was complaining about lack of javascript? emTube is actually a quicker interface anyhoo as it stands... How do you view youtube on your N95? I can visit both sites but the mobile site feels horrible and i was under the impression it didn't have everything youtube does?

I've already read that and was ready to fart around, but so sign up to symbian signed you need a none public email adress, and its something io dont have atm, and its far too much hassle (compared to a tiny app i'll never use) to bother setting one up for one email with virgin (loads of reasons).

I just view it via the normal desktop youtube.com page, it just works (The N95 original cant view it, the N95 8Gb can). Not sure if the E51 can do this then? I prefer it as it allows me to view my subscriptions, if emtube has this function I would certainly use that over the normal website, it would be so much more covenient.
 
The main concern i have about some of the apps on that N95 Blog, is while they are useful, a lot of them would clog up the phone and make it run slower.
Now, admitadly, im going off my experiance with previous S60 phones, but im non too keen to install some of the apps, like the profile switcher program that uses the accelerometer, if it makes the phone run slower, or use's more battery life?

Unless im wrong, correct me if i am? :).
 
Yes if some things run in the background they will "clog" it up a little, i'm not really after those, just applications i can use that are helpful. But as symbian goes the newer features packs its speed and reliability ever moreso...

No it doesn't work then, i can do everything else on the sites like queue up videos etc... So it won't be to do with javascript, i guess i have an older version of flash then. Which is annoying, wonder they'll fix that with an update? :( (Actually its not been a huge problem just yet :p)

I on;y really use youtube for silly videos i'm not subscribed or use it like a video blog or anything like that...

Ah i see, its down to flashlite 3.0, E51 is only flashlite 2.1 so far. Hopefully it comes with new firmware like the n95 8Gb

/edit I would also add Coreplayer to the list of essential apps, however I hate Coreplayer, they are full of carp - they said wmv would be integrated..almost a year ago now and they still havent. Nevertheless there is no other Symbian app that allows you to play as many different types of video codecs (without convertion too) as Coreplayer.

I'd also say MGmaps as this allows you to use Microsoft live maps which are better than Google maps (the maps not the app)

Also MOSH is a great p2p Nokia app that allows to to download free apps on the fly - there is some good stuff on there.

Lastly have you checke out Symella - download it and see what it can do..

Is there anyway so coreplayer can be set to be the default player for music and video , I can't seem to work it our :confused:
