just been looking through these monitors in the Sale, dont want a widescreen so the **B Grade** monitors look very tempting, my only worry is; does '**B Grade**' translate to stuck or dead pixel??? :( cuz my current monitor has one so it would be onnoying to have this again (not so bad atm, its barly noticable) so to have one again would be one thing, to have one with a worse prob would be a disaster :(

not necessarily, it could mean missing cables, missing manuals, damaged packaging, ex display....loads really. Best bet to ring the shop and ask what makes a particular model B grade :)

I tried this when I was looking at getting the Hyundai W240D from B grade, however the salesperson wasn't able to tell me anything about the item.

I bought a b-grade Sammy 223bw and originally wasn't happy with it because of 2 dead pixels. I did the pixel massage thing and they disappeared, just have to cancel my RMA w/ocuk tomorrow.

I saw a nice sammy 2226cw B grade.

Was oringinally tempted but then decided a monitor isn't worth taking the chance with, especially seeing as they are such hassle to return.

Think I'll wait and see if OCUK put there 226CW on special next week :D

I got a 226BW last week on bgrade :)

Box had been open'd and wasn't in the greatest of conditions,

Everything was there and no dead pixels ECT Hardly any bleed. i'm well happy! I got a bargin :)

B-Grade is worth the risk in my view :) If you don't like it send it back.

I got my q6600 on bgrade and thats a awsome clocker :)

I've had some great things B grade in the past and for most things I totally agree. :)

If I knew for sure that the monitor just had broken packaging or a missing manual then I'd probably take a punt.

But as we don't know and it could also be ex-display or a customer return then the risk becomes too high for me.

But it's always good to hear when the risk pays of and someone gets a bargain. :)

I bought a B grade Hyundai W240D PVA on friday and recieved it on monday. The box was a little bit tatty, and it only has one dead pixel (which i don't care about really), and all for £120 less than a new one. B grade stuff is awesome, especially as i got a much better monitor than the one i was going to get (the samsung 245B) all for like 40quid less than that one.
