iv just added a few new things to my system and im wanting to know if my cards are sli compatable??

my spec is:

Graphics cards:
Point of view nvidia gforce 8800GTS 320mb
MSI 8800GTX 768mb

Motherboard: MSI P6N Sli v2
CPU: Intel quad Q6600
RAM: 4gig ddr2 6400+

the new components are everything but the 8800gts
i have set the sli board thing in between the cards on my motherboard to "SLI x8 - x8"

and have put the connector across both my cards (so they are connected)

but when i go into my nvidia graphics pannel thing in windows there is nothing about me enableing sli??

does it enable automatically or are my cards not compatable for each other to run sli??

what res do you play at?

if standard 1280 by 1024 then sell both and get 2 8800gt cards and save yourself some cash :)

if bigger than that for instance on a 22" screen then get 2 gtx's

i play crysis as 1024x768 and all my other games at the highist rez of my monitor lol, cant remember what it is :P but i want 2 gtx's so... :P
