Do you find overweight people attractive?

Unless you're Mr Muscle, you're not slim! :p

That's my height; I lift weights, have little fat, and I'm just over 12 stones. I have three friends who are my exact height, and they're all between 10.5 and 11.5 stones. They all look average build.

I'm 5' 11" and very thin, hardly any muscle at all (:p) I weigh about 11.5st. Maybe I was wearing heavy clothes...

I think some of the comments here are by people who have never really known or have experience of what a true relationship is.

Pierce Brosnan lost his first wife to Cancer, he must have been devastated but he found love again. When they met, she had a stunning figure I doubt any fella's here would turn her down..

The fact is, when you fall in love with someone, the external beauty that first attracted you to that person is overshadowed by the love you feel for her/him later.

Pierce is a 54 year old man, from the looks of it he has found someone who loves him for him. Thank god not everyone in the world are as superficially narrow minded as to think you cant be attracted to your wife if she puts weight on.

Kudos to Pierce and his wife for not conforming to the "skelebrity" ;) blueprint..

For the record I think women of all shapes and sizes can be beautiful.

Above point is valid, but we are talking about in general, he was already attracted to her, shes same woman inside still, but obviously shes mothered his children so attractiveness changes, as he no longer wants to father anymore does he?
Most of us are looking at the question if would you meet someone new who is fat/obese, could you find them attractive? I think id automatically turn off the physical side.

He probably still sees in her what he always did and still finds her physically attractive, much in the same way I can see my gf when shes completely run down and not got any makeup in but i still think she looks as good as the first day i saw her. If she put weight on like mad id turn off to it though, since im young and havnt had kids - i want them with someone whos healthy etc.

I saw this link and wondered what people thought

She does look very different in the top picture compared to the bottom one but does it matter? What if the person you married/lived with/are partner to put on a lot of weight? Would it bother you?

Personally I don't think I'd still be as physically attracted to my husband if he put on loads of weight but I'd still love him. That's not being superficial imo as you can't really control who you're physically attracted to. Obviously personality means a lot more but I don't think I would feel the same if someone was obese.

I'm not talking about a little overweight but really obese.

more attractive in the top photo i thought. Provided they aren't obese then doesnt really matter to me. It just doesnt enter my radar but if they are obese then yeah you do notice and it is a turn-off big time for me. Dont have a type really.

As said by others someone being overweight is not always about being lazy and just eating all the time. One of my female friends at uni was curvy and a little bit overweight but she was stunningly gorgeous imo. (i hold my hand up to fancying her but she was my best m8s gf so no no) And she exercised all the time and was sports mad.

Genetics have got a lot to do with your "base" level of weight/metabolism whatnot.

I completely forgot to comment on the actual Brosnan thingy.

Here current size, no, I find it kinda gross to be honest.

Different people find different people attractive. I think its about being an individual. I see the person - (not just personality but also magnetism and energy between those 2 individuals kinda)

We're all people, we're all individuals i think we are all attracted to individuals not FAT people not THIN people or whatever. Thats how i see it anyway :D

Spiteful and belittleing personal remarks dont help (not aimed at anyone in particular but lets just say its evident in this thread) yeah its an internet forum but try to remember its a person on the other end okay?

Live and Let live people please....

Some people do look better with some extra weight on I just looked at some pictures of renee zellweger and I think she looks better when she put the weight on for Bridget Jones. She went down to what looks like a 6 or so after that and doesn't look as nice imo.
