Haircut - How much do you pay??

£6.50 plus £1.50-£2 tip. I always tip my barber, anyone with the ability to give a humiliatingly bad haircut or is holding a sharp blade close to my ear lobe, then I want to keep them sweet!

£18 or so, but I just give the £2 out of the score as a tip.

Full works though, including wash and head massage by a man of suspect sexuality. Mind you I'm a lazy bugger and only go once every 3 months or so.

£15 + a £2 tip about every 4-6 weeks. takes me under a minute to do my hair on a night out. it is only around an inch long though.

takes me longer than that to put heat proof spray on

Probably about 5 minutes normally.

The reason I get a decent haircut is that I don't have to faff around sorting it out in the mornings, it should sit fairly well on my head with minimal effort. I'd say on average I spend about 1 minute "doing my hair" which would involve getting a small dollop of wax/putty or whatever, and rubbing my hair a bit. Et voila, sexytime.

Can I also just add, that for me, an average looking girl can look really hot with decent hair - so I figure that must translate at least some extent the other way round. Ironic really, considering the amount of "gay" being thrown around here.

5-10 minutes to straighten it, plus another 5-10 to wax it.

I'm surprised at the number of non-tipping posters. Do you also not tip at a restaurant or when getting a cab etc?

£4 at the Pakistani hairdresser quite good and reliable. Does absoloutly any cut for that price! Honest hard working man just making a living

restuarants, bars, taxi's, food delivery... yes.

hairdressers... no, i had no idea that anyone did :/

Tips are meant to be given for extra added service, going beyond the customer's expectations to improve their experience. The whole idea of tipping automatically is pure unadulterated bull****.

Not very long. Usually wash it first though (unless I'm going straight to a club I know is going to be particularly sweaty on some sort of dnb night), takes an age to dry after that. Brush it. Like I said before, I let it do its own thing most of the time, including blowing across my face and trying to set itself on fire on my lighter.

If I decide to wrestle with a headband, it'll take ages. Yes, I am a big girl, I know.

Between £10-15 washed, cut and styled. Never more than £15. Normally lasts me a month, so every pay day I get it done again.
