Perhaps Cyanide - whilst sticking to the speed limits - was all over the road? I've been behind people who've tried to drive at speed and have been all over both lanes on country roads, when it's really quite simple to stay in their own lanes. In fact, I've had it before where someone was driving extremely dangerously (although I'm sure they didn't think so) and I would've happily tried to make them pull over and given them a story about me being a copper if it'd make them calm down![]()

And with all of the OP in mind, why did you not argue with the guy and point it all out to him, or did you think it best to just sit there and nod and then come and tell us?

As easy as that sounds, it can make things much worse than you expect. Could follow you home etc and plus the safety of his passenger is at stake. I would never have stopped in the first place however.
Just nod and say yes sir no sir, three bags full sir.
