Just wondering really how many of you lovely lot have a £5 coin.

i know they came out a while ago.

Never even knew they existed....it's about time they got rid of 1p's & 2p's though! Australia don't have them and you certaintly don't miss them at all!

ha.. ive got about 15 or more £5 coins at home... my mum n nan used to give them to me when i was younger..

Think i was about 12 when i got 1 but i dont no where it is but i kept it cos some1 told me it was worth more than £5 lol...

Also did any1 have the 50p where the queen had a necklace on?? some1 told me if i took it to the post office i would get more money for it

i think i was a litle bit gullable then lol

Yeah when i was younger everyone told me that but didnt really belive them

Seconded, i only end up losing them/binning them/sticking them in a container and never using them.

No.. All the 1p chews would go upto 5p each, 5 times the cost!, Bad idea
