What film to complete the hat-trick ?

Blade Runner. You can't possibly be more underwhelmed than I was...
For real...? Wow, I'm impressed.

I suppose the fact that you watched it 25 years after it was released (assuming you watched it recently) may have something to do with it. It probably seems unoriginal (by today's standards... but consider what other films were like in the early 80's) and the FX may look a little bit dated compared to today's CGI-tastic films, but apart from that it is clearly a masterpiece.

Why is this ringing the amazing film bells in my head? I know the name but cant put the film to it? ?

Para returns to Matlock to 'sort out' the gang who messed about with his mentally disabled Brother. One of the best British films ever!

great film, great ending

Rise of the foot soldier is also good. <- about gang/mafia style crime not a soldier :p

Butterfly Effect.

Like Donnie Darko, just a little easier to understand.

(Not saying its a great movie though)

Well, I would say The Butterfly Effect is a great movie. It was my fave movie of its year of release.

I heard that Donnie Darko was similar, so watched it and thought it was aboslutely terrible.

I Am Legend?

I am legend was pap, it's like they wanted to do one plot with the guy and girl ,beast but then just ignored it. also i prefer the books reason for him being legend, as the boogy man of the night people etc, someone who would walk in the day then butcher you while you slept at night, a tale to tell the children.
