OC noob + overclock = ok???

Jus done my first overclock an its loaded up an all tha :D

But does this look fine??

e2200
Gigabyte G33M DS 2R
2gb OCZ ddr2

have you tried orthos to make sure it's stable?
probably best to check the temps while its running too.

thats a touch on the warm side :) wouldnt really want to go above 75c but if its stable for 24/7 use and temps not going above 60c gamming etc.. then in my book is ok

agreed. you might want to either reduce the volts on that ( assuming you've
upped them), or check the hsf is seating correct.
also what hsf you using? and have you got good case flow.

Jus usin the standard HSF, havent uped the voltage, doesnt even get into windows when i try :p

Usin an old alienware case, no idea if thats good for airflow or not.

With that overclock 83 degrees C isn't bad for the stock cooler. In real-world usage your temps are unlikely to ever hit that high but it might still be an idea to swap the heatsink over at some point.
