why shader clock is so low on 3870 that probably why it had problems competing with nvidia before and lower fps with aa on or of ? 3870x2 has now more shaders if you ad so if you ad 825 + 825 its more then 1512 then ultras then its faster then ultra. so 8900gx2 should be even more faster. does it make sense lol or im wrong

I expect the gx2 to **** all over the 3870x2, but here is to hoping :)

After just reading the anandtech review, i'm wondering why they didn't compare the power consumption to two 8800gt's in sli.

well.... take 1 gt... x 2.....

besides its a single card solution so really it would be unfair to compare.... and that rhymes.

you are joking right? SLi is more like x1.7 to x1.3 instead of x2...... depending upon the game, the settings, and the mobo. Crossfire is normaly a little better, but x2 isnt realy feasable, the "overhead" for splitting the info to 2 cards and syncronising the output will always take up some of the processing power.

With the power colour version being a lot cheaper will there be any performance difference between it and the HIS version. Basically is the extra £50 for the HIS version worth it over the power colour version?

whats the story on the PCIE 1.1 vs 2 thing please ?

does 1.1 really cut performance by 30% or was that a red herring ?

It was claimed, however it's since emerged that it's a PCIe 1.1 card.

It seems now like it was just a driver bug. :)
