GTA IV - April 29th release - OFFICIAL

Wouldn't say I have feelings for or against any manufacturer, I just don't agree with the way 360 owners are treated, your 360 RROD's, you get given a refurbished unit and its only a matter of time before it happens again. That is MS taking the **** in my opinion.

Like SiD will never buy another Sony console, I'll probably never buy another MS console until they sort there act out, I would like another 360 but I'll not buy one until its confirmed the issue is resolved.

Personally I'd love SNK and SEGA to get back into the game.
 
60gb PS3 users only get a refurb now too :p.
I do think Microsoft could learn a thing or two from Sony's customer service though (especially before the 40gb replaced the 60gb).

I do think Microsoft have a lot less issues, my friend says she recieves more PS3's back than Xbox360's now through failure.

But the refurb PS3 you get is far less likely to break down than your MS refurb.

I'm not saying the PS3 is perfect as obviously it will have a failure rate, but I do find it hard to believe that your friend is getting more PS3's back than 360 failures - I'm not saying you or your friend or lying, just there must be a reason for it, maybe a bad batch delivered to that particular shop or something.

In the two years the 360 has been out, I can't believe they haven't fixed the issue yet, surely someone somewhere knows why it's doing it?
 
The 40gb PS3's don't seem to last too long. Over Xmas there were more PS3 failed threads than Xbox360 ones and we haven't had many of either since.

That's because people constantly get told off for making "My 360 died" threads :p

No seriously I'm sure a percentage of PS3's have failed, but surely its nowhere near like the 360 RROD issue.

GTA IV anyone? haha

Got this preordered, but as it's coming out just before my A-levels, I will have to wait till afterwards to have a proper play of it. Just read the IGN article on the Euphoria engine and it does sound pretty nifty to say the least.

I reckon if people don't pay attention he'll disappear into the distance and never to be heard of again. Aslong as nothing happens to GTAIV I don't care D:

So, when does everyone reckon we might get our first gameplay videos?

All i want to see is a little clip of the player hitting someone in a car. To see what the ragdoll is like, and also to see how busy the streets are with peds/cars :)
 
I can't remember if we ever saw gameplay video for the previous three until they first appeared as part of game reviews. It was all stills and cut-scene videos. Definitely by April 29th. Hehehe.

There were no gameplay videos of San Andreas until its release day. Bummer.

Oh really? Fair enough.

I am sure that I saw some GTA 3 footage before it was released. Maybe I didn't though. :confused:
