Do light guns work on Plasmas or LCDs?

I want to bust out time crisis and house of the dead, but before i delve into the attic, anyone tried this before?

afaik they do, but not with 100hz sets.

No, they don't. Not the old style light guns.

They rely on CRT technology to work.

I have a Sharp Shooter gun for the Xbox sitting next to me in the box covered in dust. It works with 100hz CRT TVs but not LCDs, Plasmas or rear projection screens.

Yes because they use the same technology (similar) to the Wii. So they use light blocks which are placed in 3 corners of the tv.

Yeah the new light guns work fine. l will be selling my time crisis 4 on MM in the next few days so keep an eye out

This is so weird.

I had a dream last night and in it my girlfriend was buying Time Crisis II on the PS2 and I was trying to stop her because I said that the gun wouldn't work on the LCD TV.

What a stupid thing to dream about.
