Yeah but every now and then the lure of a super duper game on release date, outweighs the lure of a 6 pound saving.

This is one of those times (Although I do have a hell of a lot of games to play, should I order the cheaper USA copy and then just spend my few extra days playing other games!!)

I know where you're thinking of, and I refuse to use them cos I don't like the vague way they work. "We do have it in stock, well we think we do, but we might not. It's been shipped, well, from our US office at least."

Sod that.

I have probably used the site you are thinking of more than anyone on these forums. Whilst the delivery is slow, it is free and advertised as such. I have only once had an order take 9 working days, and on day 9 sent them an e-mail and this was during postal strikes. I accept this as they have not let me down with regards to customs etc before.

I will be ordering a UK DMC4 (only cos I want it so bad!!)

They have recently updated and clarified their shipping options etc which can be found on their blog:

Without wanting to go off topic, it's not the delivery times I'm bothered about, it's the time it takes to get shipped. Both myself and my Fiancee have had to get pretty shirty to get refunds for orders that have taken 3 weeks plus to ship. All that for a fiver saving? Not me.
 
I've got the 360 limited edition version pre-ordered after playing the demo. Didn't think I'd be overly keen but it was good fun :) And got the limited edition for under £30 so it seems well worth that much.

Fair dues, I too always change companies suppliers after one bad experience these days, as with the open market & intern there is so much choice, and only customer service etc normally sets online companies apart. You get bad customer service, you move on. I would do the same.

The ps3 version of dmc4 can be had for 34.99 in a competitor that I use all the time (UK based) and 38.99 for the Limited Edition. Unfortunately they have stopped taking pre-orders for some reason (I have the standard edition ordered at 35.99).

Right, US copy ordered from one of my US sources. £33.70 delivered. Should get dispatched this week.
 
Can't wait for this....Devil May Cry series are so addictive to me...I love the gameplay style!! Really like the demo of this one as well..
 
i downloaded the demo last night,i am surprised its pretty good.I didn't expect much from it thats why i left it late to download the demo.The graphics are stunning i think,might have t o pick this game up.I just found the loading bugged me abit but it didn't take long so wasn't so bad.
 
demo was great! I have only played DMC1 and thought it was excellent! awesome music too...missed the others dont know if its a good thing or not...but will be getting this reminds me of the first :)
