Ok i have decided i want a tattoo,

I know i really want one and i have decided on the geek theme, something from mario or sonic or the like,

Now my GF totally hates this kinda stuff but it actually (surprisingly) means a lot to me,

So i ask, what do you think i should get inked?
 
ask yourself... do you really want a "geek" tattoo??

what about if you go swimming/on beach, and you have a big Mario Tattoo :eek:

If you want it, go for it, but just make sure you've thought it through.
 
How old are you?

If your in your teens, I'd say don't be an arse, chances are you'll regret it later.

If your older, then why now? - Assuming you don't already have them plastered all over you!

Personally, not for me - tattoo's, despite fitting my truck driver image rather well I guess. :o

I'm 37 btw.
 
Not sure if the kinda thing you wanna keep on your body forever is a video game character, but hell, at the same time, its your body.

Maybe worth finding a henna place, or something to that effect, that could do you a temporary one, which would make you think:

Ooh I like it, i'll get it done!
Hmm, i'll think about it some more
Christ i feel like a tit, glad this'll be gone in 2-3 weeks.

Could be worth some pondering?

Clichéd but very true.

Try and create a design on your own or with the help of a proper artist, that way it will mean more. Asking people for tattoo idea's isn't a great way of going about it, especially if it means so much to you.

What you really need to ask for is; has any one seen any Mario Tattoo's or Sonic tattoo's on someone before?

Couple of examples of tattoo's of said characters, but you really need to do some more thought on this. Think what do you want done? Where? How big? What colours? Get a sonic picture and speak to an artist and come to an informed decision.

And don't **** you're girlfriend off by getting one either!

Depends what your into...personnaly I would go for something that actually means something to you...
 
If you can explain in detail why you want Sonic or Mario perminantly inked into your body then fair enough....but you will only meet hostility if you cannot justify it.

I fear you really havn't thought this through and If I were you I would draw a mario on myself and live with it for a few months then see how I felt.
 
Plus wait til your old and wrinkly lol, so will mario lol...will look kinda stupid in the long run...oh well, each to their own

if your girlfriend will hate it and you actually think you have a future with her, don't do something to yourself that will make her think you're ugly, it's just not worth it. You'll be saying that Mario means more to you than she does.
 
Don't do it. Do you really want people to know that computer games are such a big part in your life you got a tattoo of one!
 
haha, never thought this thread would get a response like this :p

I was just thinking of something that has been a part of my life and gaming was the only thing i could think of that i will definitely be doing when i an older, well it's either that or a bottle of beer tattooed onto my arm :)
