New to all this Live and Xbox thing so need to get a few opinions :D Currently I’ve got a 30 Day gold trial, and was wondering what Live product you lot go for? Is Gold worth keeping the subscription? Or is the plain free live the way to go?

Haha

Silver means you can download demo's, but no online play against any one else.

Only gold does that, so yes it's well worth it ;)

It would be best if you bought the subscription time in the form of cards from shops or online instead of purchasing it through the 'dashboard' as it auto renews(and you have to go through the hassle of ringing them up to cancel your subscription)

It also works out cheaper if you look around for the best price

Most recent demos are only available to gold.

It's not worth it but there's not much you can do with silver, so either pay for gold or be limited in what you can do with it.

Im on silver at the moment as miss Gold so much. £40 is well worth it. Sure if it was free that would be great but it offers so much that £40 a year is nothing.

EDIT: All demos are available on Silver one week after release.

Pretty much everywhere is the same price. You should be looking at about £35 for 12 months of Gold and £17 for 2100 of points.

I went into a shop today and bought 2100 points for £17.50.

Look around and there is a shop that does a 12 live sub for £32.99

EDIT:this voucher still works for the store also dt7aquwhf £5 off :)

It's worth it if you plan to play online or not.

However I think paying for p2p gaming and not getting dedicated servers is a bit of a scam...

Ah think I found them :D Thanks!

By far the best use I’ve found so far is the ability to download playable demos!
