For the fourth time in a week, an undersea communications cable has apparently been cut (or "failed due to a power outage," as some sources suggest), and while no official reports of subversion have surfaced just yet, things are beginning to get suspicious- no kidding!

First time is an accident. Second time as a coincidence. Third time it's a conspiracy.

So what does that make the fourth time?

Are we going to see something happen over there? the loudest reporters are bloggers silence them and no net you can control the media and cover up whats going on.

prelude to an invasion? or are they cutting these cables in preparation for some sort of atrocity?

Thank God it's only the middle east and not somewhere important like Europe / North America :p

big ass ships, dragging big ass anchors, in big ass storms, is the other possibility.

Somebody set up them the bomb?

It also means that the more 'normal' people in the middle east can't see past the restricted single sided trash that their government feeds them.

Sometimes the Internet is the only method of seeing what the real world is like - and an unbiased world that their rulers/religion believe they should see. Much the same as China.

Its unfortunate - but I'm sure it was deliberate - probably some group who think the west is showing them too much - or teaching them too many bad habits.

Like how to say 'no' - this is wrong.

At least it doesn't affect any forward-thinking countries.

I have to say, that is such an ignorant comment. Why are these boards so anti-middle east?! Just because there are a group of crazed fanatics that take things way too far, doesn't make the whole area cavemen..
