just looks nice really, its a 1999 520i with all the m5 kit on, done pretty well actually, even has all the sport interior etc, nice car, i really like it.
Shame one of the fogs is out in the pictures.

Can't really see the point in posting when your friend gets a car, one of my friends bought a BMW, I know i'll post a thread about it.
Shame one of the fogs is on in the pictures.
And are they 3/6 series wheels? They don't look right.

It's an ex police E39 SE by the look of it with a Sport front bumper, M5 mirrors and fake E60 alloys.
The reason it looks wrong to everyone is becuase it's an SE with a Sport bumper - so its colour coded.
All factory Sport models, and all factory E39 M5's, have black rubbing strips to break the colour up a bit. Thats why a tarted SE looks instantly wrong unless the rubbing strips have been swapped.
Come on then put us out of our misery, what is it? It's got no front PDC either, which means either:
a) It's not a facelift
b) It's not UK spec, hence probably ex police
c) The front bumper is a fibreglass replica without PDC holes
