How Big can our 06 scores get?

Well it is stimultaing watching firefly and keeping an eye on those FPS.

Plus you get the anticipation of waiting for the final score to be calculated.:o

:D It also gives people big DO NOT USE THAT WORD ON THESE FORUMS , bigger than they'll ever have in the real world

Even longer wait than 01/03/05, as you need to go through the futuremark website to get the result...

The key to any benchmark is it's universel-ness. And everyone who has spent more than 50 quid on a GPU knows their 06 score to the nearest 1,000 IMHO.

Nope, havent got a clue here. :p

I got yesterday 10152 3D06 marks.
I think my 8800 GTS is holding me back, however I am waiting till the 9800 GX2 comes out before I get a new graphics card (11th March hopefully).

By spec is below. (No OC'ing either)

I don't take too much notice of 3dmark06 scores. My system with the 8800gt scores only slighty lower than someone i know with the EXACT same system apart from he has an 8800gtx oc2. so 3dmark would suggest there is very little difference but when playing crysis, the gtx is quite a bit faster, more than the 5-600 difference in 3dmark would suggest

5-600 aint just slightly lower lol...

Look at it this way, the 8800GTX was probably £200 minimum and the 8800GT can be had for under £150.

It's at least 33% more expensive with only a 5% boost (in 3dmark 06 at least), It's a very small boost for what you're paying. Then again 3dmark means bugger all.

I got 13000 plus small change, no idea if thats any good or even if i used the right settings, bought a new DVDRW and that seems really fast.:p
