UFO spotted over foggy car park

If you're referring to "Greys", that's simply not true.

Wells wrote two alien stories: War of the Worlds and The First Men in the Moon. I've read both, and neither of them contain anything remotely like a "Grey."

Yes they do. He doesn't specifically say "Greys" but he describes similar beings that live on the moon on "The first men on the moon". Called the "Selenites" or something like that.

in the men in the moon, he describes short grey skinned creatures with high foreheads, no nose and bulging eyes. In the man of the year million he says that humans evolve into beings with shrunken bodies and enlarged heads with overdeveloped brains and eyes. one hell of a coincidence.

He describes the Selenites as looking like insects:

By contrast with the mooncalves he seemed a trivial being, a mere ant, scarcely five feet high. He was wearing garments of some leathery substance so that no portion of his actual body appeared...He presented himself...as a compacted bristling creature, having much of the quality of a complicated insect, with whip-like tentacles, and a clanging arm projecting from his shining cylindrical body-case.

The form of his head was hidden by his enormous, many-spiked helmet...and a pair of goggles of darkened glass set very much at the side gave a bud-like quality to the metallic apparatus that covered his face.

His arms did not project beyond his body-case, and he carried himself upon short legs that wrapped though they were in warm coverings, seemed to our terrestrial eyes inordinately flimsy. They had very short thighs, very long shanks, and little feet.

"...having much of the quality of a complicated insect"
"...whip-like tentacles"
"...a clanging arm" (singular)
"...cylindrical body-case"

Doesn't sound like a "Grey" to me. How many tentacles do you get on the average "Grey" these days?

Only ufo sighting video i've seen that looked remotely legit was one of some craft that hovered over a city scape and shot vertially up through the cloud cover in less than a second. Was shaky camera work but did look hard to fake and the movement was unlike any aerial vehicle we could have produced.

See my previous post for a more accurate description, taken from the book.

Oh yeah, that sounds exactly like a "Grey"!! He must have met them for sure!!!

"Shrunken bodies and enlarged heads with overdeveloped brains and eyes"; that could be the description of a dwarf. The features are described in broad terms, with few details. There's nothing uniquely "Grey" about them.

He's not even describing aliens; he's referring to the future state of evolved humans! So how are these people "Greys"?

in the book he uses atrophied, which doesn't mean short.

wait, what's that got to do with it? how are evolved humans from the future any less an alien than men from mars?

Yup, its UFO, an Unidentified Flying Object. No doubt about. Whether or not its from this planet I dont know, but its defintily a UFO.

I'm sure I've seen something just like this before and they proved it was caused by some sort of the reflection type glitch in the camera.

Anyway, it could be an alien craft or a craft from another dimension. Why not? We really don't know that much about how the universe works - we used to think the world was flat, etc, etc. I think it's incredibly narrow-minded to rubbish the idea of "visitors" when we, as a species, have barely explored beyond our own back yard. Imagine all the things we've yet to discover!

That's a shop... i can tell from the pixels and having seen many shops in my time.

*lol*

Look at the tilt as well, that's how they fly you know.

Hehe I was thinking that. It's how the NORMALLY fly? That makes it difficult to fake? And this coming from an alien fanatical society named B.E.A.M.S?

That response with the dish and the forcefield was hilarious though.
