In a perfect communist state, everybody would have equal status and equal access to the resources of the state. All houses would be the same so it wouldn't matter who lived in which house.
Due to the nature of human beings and their innate desire to obtain more wealth or possesions than their peers, this communist utopia is unattainable but the theory is ideal.


Nevertheless even in an ideal communist society houses will be in different locations and therefore be more desirable.
