It seems with the upcoming releases we all better do our homework and not jump in with both feet.

Lets change the first 8 to a 9, they'll never know. :D

I thought it was a cut down 8800GT on a G94 chip with 64SP's?

Surely you could have 2x 8800GT with 1x 9600GT inbetween to have 3way SLi? :p

Oh, haha I never noticed it said 9800GT, thats amazingly stupid, whats the point if we going to see them performing EXACTLY the same as an 8800GT, this is VERY STUPID DONT YOU JUST HATE IT??

Typical Nvidia, they quite often re-badge and sell things with a different name.

The 7900GTO was a rebadged 7900GTX with lower mem clocks so it didn't break like 7900s did at the time, and I think they rebadged something else around the 6800 days too.

There’s always hype and speculation before any major card release. I'm sure that NVIDIA won't sit on their laurals and have something bigger up their sleves. It wouldn't make sense as they not only do they have AMD/ATI breathing down their neck but Intel too.
