Westwood on Radio1 now

His show is ridiculous. He will say something like 'Get ready for 2 hours of the best Hip Hop around and then go on to play some crappy RnB like Ashanti or something...:confused:
 
He's been aroung a long time, and as has been said, is quite well liked by the Americans. I think he has quite a lot of respect from artists too. Fair play to him; but yeah, he's a plonker. Comic genius I say.

No. He's not 40. He's actually 50. No joke.

The guys a bit of an idiot, but I do have to say that hes been involved in hip hop since as far back as 1985. So hes been about quite a bit doing what hes doing. He just happens to be a complete ****** into the bargin.
 
Just watched a clip of him on Youtube. He constantly just stops the tracks, and then shouts how "many ladies in here have clean [female genitalia]?" Complete prat.

I used to love listening to say the first 10mins of Westwood before heading out, he cracks me up.

"YO YO YO, this is the BIG DOG, keeping it real. Man, have I got some PHAT JOINTS for you, lemme tell you, we got it going ON down in the house tonight people, check this out, whassup....."

...."when I was out down in London town last night with my homeboy Ja Rule - respect - we was in this club yeah, and there was laydees as far as the eye could see man. BOW DOWN AND KISS THE RING, you know what I'm saying...." ***BOOOOOM!****

The fact of the matter is he's been involved in the scene since the 80s and if you look at the list of names he's had on his show it reads like a who's-who of mainstream hip-hop. For some reason these people will actually talk to him and not just in your typical generic BBC interview way. I don't like that type of music but he's worth it for comedy value. Respect, big dog :)

I was live on the show on the 17th :D He came to warwick uni and my mates loves him, so we went to see him for his birthday, hes peed goin my names tim and its my birthday, blah blah, then i cut in with a full on cheese, pee take of westwood goin, ONEfor ma laaaydeez :D suprised he put it on as i was geniunely taking the micky
 
Used to hate the guy, but to be honest once you realise it's all an act he's actually pretty funny.

Not sure whether it's a laugh with him or at him thing though :-/
