What is the longest you've gone without a shower?

About two and a half weeks when I broke my arm last year.

It couldn't be in a cast, so I had to keep it really still in a sling. Slept sitting up and dressing was a total nightmare, let alone taking a bath or shower.

Started to smell a bit from my arm pits mostly.

9+ days, no real excuse either other than laziness and the fact that I never seem to smell and people always think I look really clean so I don't think about it. If only they knew

very few people would tell you if you smell though ,and you often can't smell yourself !
This guy in the pub the other day stank real bad ,like a tramp reckon he never showers !

Used to regularly go without a bath / shower, just hand basin washes for anything upto 5 days, ahh, the joys of "Tramping" in an HGV for a week! - when you see the state of showers at our fine Motorway services you understand why many truckers don't use them!

Longest I had was about 3 weeks. We'd have competitions to see who could wear their grollies the longest. Didn't take my boots off for 10 days once.

If cleaning yourself as best you can using water from streams/lakes doesn't count, then I'd say a 2 week military exercise.

a lot of older houses were not even built with a bathroom just an outside loo ,my girlfriends road all had to have bathrooms fitted (which was only done about 15 years ago)before that they had to make do with hand washing in basins !
