and i love how the one that got to stay open was the "official" one with asterisks.haha

Jemma Harrison, 22, in Bury, Greater Manchester, said: "It was really bad. I was fast asleep and woke up and the room was shaking and there was a loud bang and alarms were going off."

Jemma Harrison is a big fat liar
unless she meant her alarm clock, i'm only a few miles from her and not a single alarm here was set off, media attention seeking hoo-were!

**** **** I thought it was the end of the world, I was in bed and my bed started shacking so I went down and put sky news on, jesus the wardrobe was rattling, sounded like someone was playing a 20Hz test tone at like 100+ DB.

That news reporter is hot :o

On sky news? God yes she's a real stunner :o

According to the woman Sky News have managed to get on the phone (resident earthquake-expert / wikipedia user it would seem), the police got over 1000 calls in an hour after the 2002 Dudley quake. What were they expecting to hear?!

has someone linked the beeb to the thread yet?
i got the impression from the story on the sky site that a few sky journos have been woken by it and rung in work
