Ok I first played stalker on release and couldnt get over the weapons where it was impossible to hit anything.I feel like going back to it now, were things improved with patching?Has a mod been created that makes aiming fair? Thanks in advance
Just completed only to relise I don't have the decoder to open the door and had to take the wishmaster ending
Don't have any game saves before Chernobyl so can't go back either
Somehow I missed going to the guide bit and killing Strelok bit theyre both still in my pda
Oh well
Thought the game was really good tho lasted a week so better than the 1 day of COD4
You would have struggled to kill Strelok.
That's really sad and you're not the only one to do this. The 'talk to the guide' mission just shows up in your PDA with no communication from the trader or anyone telling you it's there or that you have to meet him.Just completed only to relise I don't have the decoder to open the door and had to take the wishmaster ending

The sad thing is that you missed the last two levels and they're the best levels in the game by far. You only saw the front of the NPP but they've actually modelled the whole thing and the last level takes you all round and over it. It's the best piece of modelling I've seen. You also missed talking to the guy from the consciousness (who explains what's going on, how the zone got there, who Strelok is etc), and seeing two other endings, including the good one.
I did see a mod that let you through the secret door without the decoder, but whether it will work without starting a new game I don't know. Got to be worth a try.
