Battlefield: Bad Company

Looks awesome, only problem is there is quite a bit of tearing present.

Hopefully they can lessen it a bit before release

Graphics are really impressive, although they have got some frame rate hitches and tearing to fix.
Gameplay seems pretty entertaining too.

Yeah I wasn't sure whether the tearing was just my pc or them, looks like it's them. I don't think they would release it in such a state.
 
They said it was a GRAW type style game where you work with and command squad members. However I haven't seen any of that, but then saying that there still isnt much footage out :p
 
The destructible environments are a worry for me in multiplayer as there would be very little cover. If it had a decent unlock system for mp then i would deff get it. I noticed the sounds were really good. And the gfx were decent im sure they will improve the tearing before it ships.
 
I really like the look of that, having never played a BF game before. Bit arcadey but still looks like it will be a decent shooter. Whens it released?

I'd bet you a 6 pack of creme eggs that the tearing will be in the full release. I've yet to see a game where they have cleared it up for full release when seeing it in a preview or demo.

Out in June. It was supposed to be earlier but it was delayed, which I'm glad of as it would have clashed with Vegas 2.

I'll take you up on that bet. :D
 
I am really liking the look of this. My only concern being the fact that grenade launchers will be over-powered/used too much because they want to show off the destructive environments.
 
Hadn't seen anything about this since it was announced

Very impressed with the videos, minus the tearing which I'm guessing will be sorted
