I once drove at 85mph on a dual carriageway!

And then got 3 points for it

Ha ha!

So there's a clear lesson here folks, Fox is a more dangerous driver than us points free people :D

This thread is as ridiculous as the criminal confessions thread we had in GD a couple of years ago. Full of people saying all sorts of ridiculously dangerous things which they'd ordinarily get a right flaming for, at least 50% of being made up for effect

And all dare-devil stuff too.

Like I said we've all driven badly but we've all been taxed, insured and had a license at the time.

Funny how we'd be flamed for not having tax but not for 80mph through a housing estate?

I once jumped over a police car in my red Dodge Charger while shouting "Yeeeee hawwww"!

<OK I watched it on TV>

I only started this thread because generally everyone seems 'whiter than white' when in reality most of us have misbehaved at some point in our lives..

It's fun to read about the dumb / exciting things people have got up to.. maybe people wind a tail that is exagerated, but hey, who's to say it isn't true.

Maybe, like someone else said, your abit put out that your speeding at 85 isn't very exciting.. well tbh 85mph is not that exciting, but it's all down to perceived speed. I know some girls who go white with fear at 70 on motorway, I personally start sweating at 170 folllowed by defication at 190 lmao

A few here have just posted when they clearly have nothing to post themselves but didn't want to be left out.. why bother, terrible thing envy :-) *cough headrat cough*

edit: btw, it's easy to solve, go out, find some quiet roads and floor it!, you'll soon have your very own story of bravery and lols to tell ;)

I failed to inform my insurer that I had modified my car.

I fitted a flux capacitor and on first use I travelled 6 months into the future and discovered I'd been charged with fraud.

:)

Only thing I can think was properly dangerous was in a hire car work gave me. was 18, passed my test 2 weeks before and still in the I'm free lets do stupid thing's ended up doing 110 (indicated) in the Freelander. Not for long but it was still damn stupid considering how inexperienced I was. Turned out I also wasn't insured on it as my work didn't check the documents and I needed to be 21..... luckily everything was fine.

overheating my fiestas brakes and reaching a roundabout at 50mph (in 200 yards id only slowed it down 30mph brakes was useless). Missed the roundabout itself by inches, but flew off the side between a lappost and a sign post into a grass verge... only damage being my ego and 2 front wheels.

10minutes later the brakes was still steaming and too hot to touch the wheel nuts when swapping wheels lol

i still go for fast drives down country lanes at night, but generally @ the limit. During day you struggle to do 30mph as no one drives fast around here it seems :(

done 200miles in 2hours 15mins... avg speed is 88... but some of it was doing 100mph (1.2fez max is 101.... lol)... dead motorway though... still not smart.

i know a certain 200sx that 92 miles from the center of Bristol to the center of Bracknell in under an hour.... considering it arrived at 9am on a Monday morning (not on school holidays too) thats pretty impressive / scary! It was also just after they had put all the speed cameras on the m4 so quiet how the nameless driver managed to survive without points i don't know.

Nothing to confess, really. I think I may have jumped a red light in error once (although I had checked to make sure the junction was clear).......

Had many occasions of acting immaturely on the road worst one though that will never forget was when tried to impress a mate doin 80 in a 30 didnt know the road at all was in the middle of the night and then all of a sudden came to the end of the road there was a car comin up very quickly on my side of the road went on to the opposite side to miss him skidded onto the main road ahead and luckily held control. If i left it about 5-10 seconds later would have hit someone on the main road.. dumbest thing ive ever done since then learnt my lesson!
