Tough to predict the United lineup tonight. Fergie has mentioned he had a team in mind, but that changed at half time of the Fulham game. So I think Scholes and Nani might have earnt themselves a starting spot after Saturday (especially with Giggs struggling). Predicted team:

--------------------VdS--------------------
-------Brown - Ferdinand - Vidic - Evra------
Ronaldo - Carrick - Anderson - Scholes - Nani
------------------Rooney-------------------

If we get the first goal I think it'll be comfortable, if not its anyones guess.

Rumours are that King will be back for Spurs. Good news but I doubt we'll see him again in the league this season.

Think the Arsenal team pretty much picks itself due to injuries at the moment, RvP is in the squad so hopefuly will play a part tonight. I can see us either winning by 2 or losing by 2 tonight, if we play like the last leg i'm have every confidence we'll win though.

Its going to be a tough time for the British clubs, Liverpool have it easiest but they could easily get knocked out.

I think it maybe that side with The Kaiser in for Carrick and Tevez in for Anderson. The latter may come on in the 2nd half to stretch them a bit. I predict a 2-0 bore fest for us tonight

Arsenal to loose 2-1

Chelsea to win 2-0 also

Going to be a tough game for us against Fiorentina. I think if we can nick it 1-0 we'll be able to complete the job at Goodison though.

Who do the Viola have playing for them these days. Not followed Serie A much this season

Hoping are performance at the weekend was just down to a hangover and we rectify the problem Thursday night.

We are going to need to take PSV apart at WHL to ensure we have a good chance to qualify for the last 8. Going to Eindhoven with a draw or only a 1 goal advantage is not something I want to be experiencing.

Is there any other reason why OH (well Im guessing thats who you meant) is "The Kaiser" apart from he used to play for BM?

Never heard that nickname before is all

I Hope for a four man midfield of Ronaldo, OH, Anderson Nani (even though I suspect Scholes will be a starter due to SAF's effusiveness about Paul in the last few days) with Rooney and Tevez up front

I personally can see a 2-1 nervy home win , with Chelsea winning and Arsenal with a narrow loss 1-0

I am very worried about Lyon tonight, been having some horrible premonitions about the game :(.

If we put the right team out there we will win.

ManUtd vs Lyon.. a draw away and an apparently easy-ish home tie...this sounds familiar. Didnt Utd lose 0-2 to Lyon at home in Champions League a few years ago?

tough to decide which to watch though Man U v Lyon or AC Milan vs Arsenal.... decisions decisions..

Watched them play and beat Juventus away over the weekend and they looked pretty good. You are indeed in for a very tough game.

I think there will be 3+ goals in the Arsenal vs AC game, each side getting at least one. There is just way too much quality throughout each team for them not to score (this is assuming tonight will be way more open than a fortnight ago)

Man Utd to win 2 - 1 and Chelsea to draw or win 1 - 0. Liverpool surely can't mess this up!

I said before the Anfield game that Liverpool would be the only English casualties, and I stand by the statement that they will go out, I just feel Inter will be too good for them at the San Siro. However, adding to that I think Arsenal will struggle. But, the longer the game remains 0-0 the more I would fancy Arsenal to nick it.

Man United should go through, and if they play anywhere near their best then they are all but through. Ronaldo doesnt perform enough in the big games for my liking, so about time he does. The key will be whoever keeps the other teams best two quiet will win (Rooney and Ronaldo or Benzema and Ben Arfa).

Chelsea should qualify, they are more than good enough to beat Olympiacos, and they seem to have put the defeat to us behind them.

Celtic will go out, but would love to see them overcome Barca (dreaming).

The UEFA Cup is a hard one to call. I obvious feel we can beat PSV, but like Chong said, it wont be easy. Everton need to do well in Italy on Thursday, and if they escape with a 0-0 or a 1-0 (either way) then I would expect them to do the job at Goodison.

Bolton, I dont think they will qualify, but then again, I didn think they could beat Madrid and they did.

I am very nervous for Arsenals game tonight (today my time) - to close to call, but as people have mentioned if we play well and get a goal there is no reason why we can't progress. Hope RvP plays a part :D

4-5-1 is really asking for trouble, I really hope Fergie puts out a team to get some goals before we try sitting on a lead.
