Glossy with my MacBook = cool when indoors, outdoors where any form of a rare sunshine or bright light souce = meh~!

So depending on where you will be using tbh.

Never have problems with it and if you are really concerned with colour reproduction then you should have something like a Spyder to calibrate it anyway

Glossy, my MacBook was the first and is the only glossy screen I have (I can't tell if my Digimate 24" is glossy or matte, it's some sort of hybrid I guess). I don't have any problems using it compared to a matte.
