Patrick Swayze Dying From Cancer

Quote "His agent said reports that the Dirty Dancing star had only five weeks to live were "completely untrue".

Lets hope that he, at least, is RIGHT!

Hope he puts in a good fight.

Just heard that on the net that Patrick Swayze is dying from cancer and has 5 weeks to live.
Can't believe it.

Livestrong, I've been hoping to catch you actually. With your forum name I was just wondering do you have any involvement with Livestrong? Do you know if they do much in the UK?

I usually raise money for Cancer Research UK but I am a big Lance Armstrong fan and might like to do some Livestrong stuff too.

Let me know if you have any info.

thats tragic, point break is one of my all time fav movies

"some guys snort for it, other guys jab a vein for it, all you gotta do is jump"

I'm sure most people have sympathy for them but it rarely comes into the public eye. The fact that this case has and is such a well known figure is why the sympathy is pouring out.

Which is a shame for the 1000's who have to suffer in silence.

I've recently had a lot to do with Cancer, treatment that literally poisons you.

Horrible.

I feel for the guy however much I hate his films.

Hopefully, he will get through it, but it looks bleak for him. :(

SWAYZE RUMOURS NOT ENTIRELY TRUE!

American actor Patrick Swayze has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, his agent has confirmed.

However, his doctor said reports that the Dirty Dancing star had only five weeks to live were "absolutely untrue".

"All of the reports stating the timeframe of his prognosis and his physical side effects are absolutely untrue."

This is excellent news compared to original rumours- it indeed offends me how far these gossip-vendors will go, how deep they will delve into falsity just to make a buck.

Here's wishing Mr.Swayze some privacy and the best for his hopefully successful treatment.

Glad to hear that the time-frame was wrong, still a real shame to hear that he has cancer though. Again, hope he can pull through it.

I heard on the news this morning that he was responding well to chaemo and wasn't in imminent danger. I hate all these sensationalist, reactionary reports that don't give the facts. He's apparently still working and carrying on with life as normal. hope he gets well soon.

Everyone has to go sometime :(. Unlucky he found out with so little time to finish what he wants to do with his life.

I wish him all the best.
