Africa!

They were awesome. Gave a really nice cool spray which was a life saver due to it being the dry hot season :p

That lump of concrete used to be a bridge that was built back in the 1950's. In the 1962, the river was flooded by the highest amount of rainfall ever recorded in the area and the bridge was washed away.

i did an overland tour with a company for just over 2 months.

we drove through:

uganda, kenya, tanzania, malawi, zambia, zimbabwe, nambia, botswana, south africa

driving on a truck, carrying tents and food. stopping at a different place every night.

africa is the most amazing country.

I used to live in Kenya. But to be honest it really sounds like you have NO idea what your getting yourself into. Africa, maybe costal just shows a total lack of understanding! Africa is a 3rd world continent (for the most part), it is extremely different to what your used to here in Europe. The only place that is becoming more western is South Africa. Africa is an amazing place, and I would recommend anyone to visit it (although choose where carefully!) however moving there and living there is a different story....
