Anyone got the Canon Pixma MP610?

Hi,

I'm looking to replace my Epson CX5200 and the Canon MP610 seems to have good reviews. Anyone have an opinion on it and does it work on Vista 64bit ok?

Yes it will work in Vista64 no issues.

I have the MP600R (wifi), the MP610 is refresh of the MP600 with mainly Silver instead of Black Body (I prefer the mainly Black esp Front as you dont see doors/flaps as easy), a higher Optical Scan (same Digital Scan) and claims improved Blues in Printing etc.

Most good reviews say its not much a upgrade over the MP600's but obv is good as the MP600's are good not worth me swapping.

Thanks mate. Do you use organal Canon ink? Are they reasonablly priced and last?

1) Yes, Im still on same Ink as from new as I have grown out of printing stuff for the sake of it and normally only print Black letters (used all my Ink on previous Lexmark messing about and its costly to run).

2) Yes Canon carts are quiet cheap to replace and has single carts and 2 for black (1 extra big one) and the non Canon carts are even cheaper but I will stick to Canons.

I just found a good site/shop the other day that does Canon and 3rd Party carts, cause OCUK no longer does my Carts.
