No its not another video someone thinks they are the first to discover, but something I've noticed.
When searching youtube, the first thing I used to do was to hit the Sort by: View count button because it made sense the most viewed video it most likely to be the best. But i cannot see it any more, has anyone else noticed the lack of this option or can I just not see it? :confused:
 
not really.

The most viewed means the oldest.

Most of the most viewed videos are awful. See the tube thread for some gems that are not "most viewed" which is a self perpetuating evil.

and to the OP, nope i cant see that option either, seems it has disappeared :confused:
 
I really miss it, like when your looking for a song from a band, and you know its going to be their most famous, but cannot filter by most viewed, why would they remove it?
 
They got rid of that a long time ago - I used to occasionally click on it just to see what was currently the most viewed. 'twas fun.
 
Can't you see it? Click on the video tab and it automatically goes onto 'most viewed' and there is a big horizontal bar across the site with the different options, then just above the videos there is the 'today, this week, this month, all time' bar too.

I always used to view through the most discussed, back in late 06/early 07 before youtube lost it's credibility :p
 
i tryed all them buttons when first ever went to YT none of them seem to give decent vidz :(

best thing to do is think of a game, movie or any hobbie really and search that :)
