Who do you blame for the state of the country?

That certainly had a dramatic effect, as it bankrupted the country and it's only really been the last few years where we have stopped paying for it.
Due to the war we lost the empire, which led to policies that started the immigration problem and lost our rights to natural resources from all over the world.
I know that British Empire is now seen as wrong in the new PC world, but if will still had it we'd have a lot more going for us and far more national pride.

This country has lots of lazy ********, prefer to sit on their bum, collect benifits all their life than working.
We should perition a law that if you are able bodied and offered a job, and turn it down, no benifits. Hell, have 3 strikes, you can refuse the first 2, but don't take the 3rd one and stick for at least 12 months. Go sleep on the streets.

The government.
Simply put, They give away too much for free.
The country is getting Lazy, they feel they don't have to work for a good life anymore.
But the reason the country is lazy, is because the Government let them be.

The thing is not who to blame it's how to fix it.
I would suggest putting Gilly in charge and let him deal with the right to stay in the country in the same way that suspension and ban-hammer-ness are dealt with here.
i.e. You're an annoying little chav ... you have now been permabanned from the UK ....
