Who do you blame for the state of the country?

to be honest though i love this country (well this part of it)

only thing id improve is to remove everywhere below about leeds and then somehow make the weather warmer in summer and colder in winter :p
 
Its all our faults, typical of the UK today. Looking for others to blame. Its just been a slow decline in morals and respect year on year which has got us to this point.

People blaming labour obviously have no idea how miserable the country was after 10 years of Tory arrogance, we are back to the same point with Labour. They are all liars.

If I was to complain on this forum or real life about someone swearing I would be told to grow up they hear much worse at school work etc. A slow decline of whats deemed acceptable in this country.

When I was a teenager if a copper pulled you up for not having lights on your bike you **** yourself. My old man taught me to respect them. Today it's just **** you pig what the hell you gonna do.

Teachers have no control because parents have brought choas on to themselves by making sure teachers cannot touch their innocent little timmy. Blaming everyone apart from accepting their little kid is actually the spawn of the devil.

Stick them in the army for a spate to national service to teach them respect wont work because the army can no longer beat them into line because some **** will be filming it on his Sony Ericson.

The tax system is a joke. The only people getting screwed are the mid earning PAYE employees. All my mates that can afford a decent accountant working for themselves earning 5 times my wage pay less in tax than I pay national insurance.

I cannot understand for the life of me why income tax isn't scrapped and all tax on goods. If you can afford luxaries you pay for it. Any ***** currently not paying tax would be forced to pay. The rich buy more, more expensive houses, more gadgets better cars etc. Tax at that route rather than income because that way you catch the part of the population that are getting away with paying squat.

That's the public. Government only get away with it because we vote them in and let them get away with it. It's the one thing I admire the French for. They stand upto the goverment they voted in.
 
Labour and the idiotic way they signed our Country over to that corrupt cesspool known as Europe without even asking us first, even though they 'promised' to!
 
The public, the goverments lack of spending money where its needed, police and prisions, the media, just picking up the paper you would think that walking down a high street at night you will be killed be a gang of teenagers or shot dead by a black teenager.
 
Thatcher for setting alarming precedents regarding treatment of the working class and unions.

Blair for foreign policy and military spending which would have been better spent elsewhere.

Major for standing idly while the immigration floodgates opened, cannibalizing the UK and starting a trend of identity-crisis.

You could say the NHS, education, transport, etc etc are all massive slow-moving systems that take years and years and time periods over several governments and establishments to make real change and differences. I will go ahead and boldy say it was the Thatcher administration that ****ed GB over, and all other governments thereafter are still picking up the pieces. Privatization, taxes, treatment of working classes, jobs, immigration, and so on and on. They didn't 'just' start recently.

I would predict that Nu-Labor have just started something very very similair by surrendering the country over to the EU. Our children will pay the price for that.
