well finally seems that we're seeing some good games appearing now on the wii

Mariokart is imminent
manhunt2 confirmed for release
Bully

add to this the classics like zelda mario strikers etc etc etc

looks like a second wind for my favourite white box

I don't have any of the current gen consoles, but the wii still offers the poorest line up to me. Its quite worrying when so many of the top reviewed games are gamecube ports or downloadables.

I think its a very fair criticism. Take a look at the top games from gamespot. Around half of them are ports of older games.

Agreed, theres never been a better time to own a wii.

Personally can't wait for smash bros to hit the UK & WiiWare is coming to enable third party/new developers to develop for the Wii.

I've just brought one and have to say I'm loving Mario Galaxy.

Wii seems to have had a recent surge of top titles either released or due for release. I am currently playing on mine more than both my xbox 360 and ps3 combined and with me recently getting my hands on datel's freeloader I can now import US titles that are delayed coming out over here (Smash Bros. Brawl anyone).

Echo the point of view from above, a great time to own the little white machine.

Manhunt isnt a top title, its a run of the mill game, pretty dull, just like manhunt.

i have to agree with the guy saying the games on the wii atm raelly suck and is the poorest of all consoles and pc.

i have pretty much all the big name games for the wii and yet it still manages to get a thick layer of dust on top of it far too often.

The wii has been a real great new style console unfortunately offering jack to play on it.

not played ours for a while, got ghost squad the other day which is ok for when you have some mates round...still glad i bought one and cant wait to get smash bros/mario kart and was also looking into getting zack and wiki at some point as well

and also house of the dead2+3 on same disk is coming out...yes a port, but its shooting zombies
