Just finished watching the 'Best Of', absolutely loved watching the driving roads piece, truly inspiring stuff.

That article above makes for an interesting read, it appears that Top Gear isn't as scripted as some make out.

I just caught a glimpse of the TG repeat tonight and couldn't believe it. They sensored the section where they smoked those pipes! Why? Had I seen it would it have made me want to rush out and take up smoking?! Isn't this a step too far?

What next, they ban the track sections incase someone out there gets the urge to nick a car and attempt to drive like The Stig on the open road?

It was a best of compilation- doubt it was sensored, just not included.

Nah, it was, because I happened to have subtitles up at the time and banner saying "SENSORED" came up and they pixelled out James having a puff.

It may have been because of the broadcast time being earlier then originally and wasnt he smoking indoors in a public area which is banned?

The African special is repeated at 8pm tonight on bbc2. Well worth a watch if you missed it. They have to buy 2nd hand cars and drive them a few thousand miles.. Very funny
