or that there just seems 0 involvement when you shoot an enemy (Unlike HL2 where you practically feel yourself shooting the shotgun when you see someone go flying)
ROFL.
Saying Crysis has no feedback then saying HL2 is good. That was by far the worst thing about HL2, All the guns felt pathetic, the shotgun was good in comparison to everything else, but really lacked punch compared to shotguns in lost of other games. I'm not saying Crysis was immense at this, but certainly not worse than HL2.
As to my 3 games, in no order:
Crysis

Runs well on my setup considering the settings I run it on, looks amazing. So many different approaches to set pieces in the game. Plus multiplayer can be a bit of a laugh aswell if you can find a decent server.
COD4.
Amazingly well done single player, easily some of the best missions out of any game are in this game. Quite linear but makes up for it.
Multiplayer is amazing, have played more COD4 online than any other fps for years, only other online fps I have played as much/more would be UT2004.
Stalker.
Looked fantastic at the time (although now outclassed by Crysis - what isn't though) Awesome atmosphere, so nice to have something not set in the western world. Loved upgrading my weapons through parts I found plus once again loads of different ways to go about missions.
Honorable mentions would be UT (the series in general) Supreme Commander and Hitman Blood Money.
